The service

CreditorTrack UK is run by HuBelor Limited, a company registered in England and Wales. It watches the UK companies you choose and emails you when their position changes. It uses the Companies House register, winding-up petitions published in The Gazette and the UK Sanctions List. If you add a VAT number, it also asks HMRC whether that number is registered and in what name.

These terms apply to everyone who uses the service. If you use it for your organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept them on its behalf.

Not a credit rating or advice

We report information from official public records. It is not a credit rating, a credit reference or financial, legal, tax or business advice, and we don't recommend whether to trade with or give credit to anyone. A sanctions match means a name or number is similar to an entry on the list; it is not proof, and you should check it before acting. Decisions remain yours.

Accuracy and timing

We depend on Companies House, The Gazette, the UK Sanctions List and HMRC, whose information can be late, incomplete or wrong, and on their services being available. We aim to send red alerts within about 15 minutes of seeing a change, but we can't guarantee that every change is spotted or delivered on time. A VAT check tells you what HMRC holds at the moment we ask.

CreditorTrack UK is not provided by, endorsed by or connected with HMRC, Companies House or any other government body.

Your account and your team

  • Keep your password safe and don't share your sign-in. Tell us straight away through our security page if you think someone else has used your account.
  • An organisation's administrators can invite and remove people, change roles, manage the plan and close the account. Everyone in an organisation sees the same customer lists.
  • Each plan includes a set number of people and companies. If you go over a limit, monitoring pauses on the extra companies until you choose which to keep.

Using the service properly

You must use the service lawfully and only to manage your own trading relationships. You must not:

  • use the companies you watch, your labels or our alerts to harass, discriminate against or unfairly target anyone;
  • add VAT numbers that you have no business reason to check;
  • try to get into another organisation's data, test our security without following our security page, or interfere with the service;
  • copy, resell or republish our alerts or data in bulk, except through a reseller arrangement agreed with us.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Plans and payment

  • Paid plans are billed monthly in advance through Stripe and renew until cancelled.
  • An administrator can cancel at any time from the Plan page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you've paid for.
  • If you move to a smaller plan, nothing is deleted. Monitoring pauses on the most recently added companies over the limit until you choose which to keep.
  • If a payment fails, we retry it for a short period before the account returns to the free plan.

If you joined through a reseller

Your reseller approves your account, chooses your plan and bills you directly, on terms agreed between you and them. They can see your organisation's name, your administrator's email address, how many people and companies you have and when you were last active, but never your lists, labels, VAT numbers, alerts or messages. These terms still apply to how you use the service. If your reseller stops working with us, we'll contact you about carrying on directly.

Your data

Your lists and labels belong to you. You can download a copy of your data at any time from your email settings page, and an administrator can close your organisation's account, which deletes your data straight away apart from the records we must keep by law. Our privacy notice explains what we hold and why.

Support

You can reach us through our contact form. You'll get a reference, and you can follow the conversation online.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for losses arising from decisions made using the service, or for indirect losses. Our total liability in any 12 months is limited to the fees you paid in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and law

We may update these terms and will email you about significant changes before they take effect. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
